I've just acquired this appealing little plant. (No blooms on mine either...now I know what to hope for!) Thanks for the wonderful pictures. They prove what we already know as plant nuts...beauty exists in the tinest spaces.

I LOVE this plant (too), Harry! Another I received from Al (RIP). You've reminded me...I saw it was in bud last I looked...so, I need to go take pix if it is in bloom! :) This one must have THE most teeny leaves of any of my succulents!

I really like these little Monanthes flowers! I hope that my M. muralis will bloom again this year for me!

Thanks for sharing this one, Harry!

I just noticed that mine is in bud now too, guess I didn't have to wait long. There's a crest in the lot, but it's not doing so well compared to the normal heads.

Bump so I don't lose the thread!

Preparing for a show (albeit a very small one!)

The gray/red part is crested, but isn't doing too great. They all looked like that a couple months ago, I was wondering if they'd up and died on me. Apparently not. They have almost nonexistent roots and hold together like miniature Tephrocactus, when I potted them up from their home depot peat tomb I ended up basically with a handful of cuttings.

I was *almost* finished with my post...and POOF...it was gone! Arrgh! Try again...

If I recall how to post thumbnails...a couple pix of my plant...in bud, under neglected conditions (the greener part was in the shade). Still, a cute plant.

I will try to remember to take pix when the blooms open.

Great photos of your neat plants, guys!
