Hey Merc,
That Stapelia grandiflora(Carrion Plant, Starfish Flower, Starfish Cactus) you gave Linda just has no quit in it. It has one to 4 blooms open all the time for the last two months. WOW!!!! Linda says "Many Thanks".

Ed,
Well, after MUCH searching, I've come to the conclusion that this is a grandiflora HYBRID....not a pure species.

So, label it as you like.

Thanks Merc,
I am curious what trait or traits you noticed that would mix it with another Stapelia? I can't see any differences and the flies agree with me.

Looks like Linda is getting the hang of it. Nice Stapelia. Happy growing.

D-G,
You've got that right. Some days I can't get any time at the potting table at all! Image

Ed,
It has a color similar to grandiflora, but not the size. I don't know what it is mixed with, but I like it!
